Promoting intense regeneration of collagen, boosting the overall health of the skin

Mesotherapy is a medical technique devised in the 1950s. It was first used to treat such conditions as rheumatism, sports injuries, and for the improvement of blood circulation.

Today Mesotherapy is used as a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment aimed at diminishing various skin problems. It has proven successful at restoring the support structures of skin tissue, resulting in increased elasticity and firmness

The aim of Mesotherapy in skin rejuvenation is to promote an intense regeneration of collagen and act as a booster to the overall health of the skin. The results are visibly younger, deeply hydrated skin texture with increased skin radiance and a more even skin tone.

Mesotherapy in detail

How does it work?

Mesotherapy solutions are injected just millimetres under the skin using micro needles. The solution contains a combination of specific minerals, vitamins, amino-acids and enzymes specially tailored according to the clients requirements.

The quality of the solution is of utmost importance and NewDerm Clinic only uses high quality, safe and reputable products. The aim of the client specific solutions is to replace minerals, vitamins and amino acids that decrease in skin as it ages. NewDerm Clinic have a number of innovative products available including: Viscoderm Skinko, Visoderm Skinco E, Teosyal and Jalupro HMW.

Mesotherapy at NewDerm Clinic is an alternative method to:
– deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin
– break up fat deposits within the skin

Mesotherapy Skin Rejuvenation treatment is carried out every 2 to 3 weeks, over a period of 2 to 3 months, with each session taking about an hour. For best results 4 to 6 sessions are recommended in total. But the more mature the skin, the more frequent treatments are required. After the desired results are achieved, a maintenance program every 3 months or so will help maintain the benefits.

How to prepare for Mesotherapy?

You will attend a free, no obligation consultation with your practitioner to discuss the reasons for requesting Mesotherapy. It is important to talk about skin preparation, what to expect during and after the treatment program. Realistic expectations and outcomes will be discussed to ensure you are happy to proceed.

A medical history will be documented to ensure there are no reasons why treatment cannot be carried out. You will be asked to sign a consent form which means you understand the potential benefits and risks associated with the procedure.

Photographs may be taken, with your consent of course, for a “before and after” comparison at a later date.

Treatment can start on the same day as the consultation, at which stage your will be advised as to how many treatments are needed to achieve your optimum results.
